Some customers have reported a problem when they attempt to respond to the Gigabit Broadband Voucher (GBV) scheme emails. The GBV system sends requests as ‘pop-ups’, and your access device – PC, tablet or smartphone – may, if it has a pop-up blocker enabled, block such messages from appearing. Instead of the intended message you will see an error message such as ‘de-activate your pop-up blocker to proceed’.

The pop-up blocker feature can be enabled or disabled as desired. For the GBV information to be presented properly to you, you must disable the blocker for the duration of your browser session. The procedure for doing this will vary between Macs, PCs, iPhones or Android phones and iPad or Android based tablets, and it will also depend on which browser (e.g. Chrome, Safari, Cortana, Internet Explorer, etc.) and which release of that browser you have installed. A single set of instructions to cover all cases is not possible here.

The best way of addressing this problem is simply to Google 'turn off pop-up blocker on Mac' (or other device), when it will respond with detailed instructions for your environment and browser. Additionally, it should give you links to videos on YouTube which will demonstrate how to achieve this.
